Keyholder - Job description

Keyholders are essential members of the store leadership team at The Detox Market. This position extends the management team; in the absence of the Store Manager or ASM, this person is responsible for ensuring customer service remains a top priority, company standards are upheld, and projects can be delegated to staff during downtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consistently model exceptional customer service with clients in store, via CRM, chat, phone, and email inquiries.
2. Maintain and build a strong personal clientele base.
3. Ring up sales, returns, and exchanges in POS system accurately and safely, adhering to all store opening and closing procedures.
4. Participate in staff education sessions outside regular store hours as needed.
5. Organize testers and inventory proactively.
6. Count in and receive transfers and purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Co-own monthly expiry and tester freshness checks with Store Management.
8. Lead store team in daily maintenance of tester freshness, cleanliness, and display standards.
9. Participate in regular inventories, ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
10. Lead store team in restocking the shop floor using our First in First Out policy to prevent product expiry.
11. Provide feedback on product selection thoughtfully.
12. Support management during in-store and off-site events.
13. Assist in training, motivating, and mentoring new hires.
14. Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed, partnering with management to implement new systems.
15. Build and maintain effective relationships across departments.
16. Maintain a beautiful and engaging store environment in line with The Detox Market brand, including visual merchandising and displays.
17. Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
