Job summary

Roechling Automotive Duncan in Duncan, SC is seeking a general labor associate to support molding operations and ensure quality production. You will operate assembly equipment, read work instructions, maintain records, and participate in 5S activities.

The role includes lifting up to 35 pounds, training new operators, and collaborating with the technical team during changeovers and PM tasks. This is a day-one benefits role in a family-oriented manufacturing environment that rewards safety and

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment and follow work instructions at molding machines.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.
• Maintain production records.
• Monitor machine operation and report malfunctions or quality issues.
• Stack and pack assemblies per product specifications.
• Assist equipment changeovers with the technical team.
• Support PM activities and basic equipment problem solving.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies.

Job Location: Roechling Automotive Duncan - Duncan, SC 29334

Where we need you:

• Must perform general manual labor tasks including operating assembly equipment and performing tasks per the work instructions at the molding machines.
• Required to lift up to 35 pounds
• Must be capable of reading and following work instructions to produce a quality product
• Must maintain appropriate production records
• Required to follow all company safety and operating policies
• Capable of stacking and/or packing various assemblies and molding product per product specification
• Must observe continuous operation of machines and notify supervisor of machine malfunctions and/ or quality issues
• Abide and perform 5S activities within work cell machine areas.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Must possess ability to stop and start the press as needed within specific guidelines.
• Work with technical team during equipment change overs to accomplish change in an efficient manner.
• Support technical team during equipment PM.
• Support technical team for basic equipment problem solving and error resolution.
• Other duties as needed.
