Job summary

Röchling Industrial in Akron is seeking an Operator for all shifts to support molding production. You will read and follow detailed work instructions, operate machines, and maintain production records while upholding safety policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, communicating issues, and training new operators as needed. This role offers day-one benefits and opportunities for growth within a dedicated automotive plastics team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform general manual labor tasks including operating assembly equipment and following work instructions at molding machines.
• Must be capable of reading and following work instructions to produce a quality product.
• Must observe and document production quality and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor molding machines across shifts.
• Follow all safety policies and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation.
• Inspect 100% of products and report any rejects by typology.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.
• Follow 5S practices in the work area.

In our Akron location we are looking for an Operator - All Shifts

Where we need you

• Must perform general manual labor tasks including operating assembly equipment and performing tasks per the work instructions at the molding machines.
• Must be capable of reading and following work instructions to produce a quality product.
• Must maintain appropriate production records.
• Required to follow all company safety and operating policies.
• Capable of stacking and/or packing various assemblies and molding product per product specification.
• Must observe continuous operation of machines and notify supervisor of machine malfunctions and/or quality issues.
• Abide and perform 5S activities within work cell machine areas.
• Is present at the beginning of his shift on the machine.
• Inspects 100% of the products made, ensuring that only compliant parts are packaged and documents the rejects identified by typology.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
