Job summary

Event Network, Inc. is seeking a Key Holder to support day-to-day store operations and collaborate with management to deliver exceptional guest service in a dynamic environment.

You will greet guests, assist with sales, merchandise rotation, and ensure store standards while accurately handling transactions and assisting with opening/closing duties. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Job Summary

As a Key Holder, you’ll be an integral part of our store’s day-to-day operations, working alongside the management team to create memorable moments for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service in a fun, dynamic environment. The Key Holder Associates are responsible for meeting company guest service standards in their interactions with all store guests; accurately and efficiently processing guest sales transactions; restocking merchandise; and completing other tasks as assigned by store management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Promptly greets store guests and offers assistance to provide quality guest service to everyone who shops in the store.
• Consistently practice suggestively selling to create and increase sales by using open-ended questions to engage the guest in conversation, suggesting promotional items and attempting to add on to every sale.
• Knowledgeable about the store’s products. This includes, but is not limited to, current sales and promotions, the store’s sales targets, key performance indicators (KPI goals) and new products.
• Meet company presentation standards by following guidelines for merchandise display, store cleanliness, receiving merchandise shipments, replenishing and making sure product is rotated when re-stocked.
• Follow Event Network and hotel appearance and dress standards.
• Process all transactions in the cash register system in an accurate and efficient manner. This includes but is not limited to cash and credit card payments, employee discounts, guest room charges, hotel property charges.
• Complete store paperwork and other procedures required for the operation of the store. This includes, but is not limited, printing register reports, performing cycle counts, and opening and closing store procedures.
• Recognize security risks and protect company and store assets. Know how to prevent and properly handle situations, which could result in loss to the store and company.
• Follow all applicable state and federal laws and company policies and procedures for store operations, time keeping procedures, hotel, loss prevention and human resources policies and procedures.
• Work together as a team with all staff to achieve store goals and contribute toward creating a positive work environment.

• Position requires flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, morning and evening shifts.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the Key Holder Associate is frequently required to stand up to 8 hours (except during breaks and meal periods required by law and company policy); walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The Key Holder Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• The Key Holder Associate must have the ability to read, count and write accurately to complete all required paperwork.

Pay Rate: $16.25/hr
