Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and daily store operations in New York.

You will coach the sales team, lead by example, and handle essential cash reconciliation, opening and closing the store on a rotating schedule. This role is an ideal first step toward a long-term career with a prestige beauty leader.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized service.
• Desirable: retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing.
• Previous supervisory experience coaching others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events.
• Experience with retail POS software.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure smooth running of the store.
• Lead by example to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Carry out start and end of day cash reconciliation.
• Open and close the store on a rota basis.
• Coach and mentor the sales team toward achieving targets.
• Manage retail hours including events and busy periods.
