Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers at the counter with a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Open and/or close the location, including securing the building and handling keys
• Handle cash, credit transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) system operations
• Support kitchen and prep staff during peak service hours
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe counter and dining area
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily operational tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service, counter service, or a quick-service restaurant (QSR) preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy — key holder responsibility requires dependability
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
