Job summary

La Vie en Rose in the United States is seeking a full-time retail associate to welcome customers, help them find lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear, explain product features, and provide excellent service. You’ll work to meet personal sales goals and support store operations in a dynamic, friendly environment.

Ideal candidates love fashion, have prior sales experience, and are proactive and communicative. Flexible hours and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome and assist in finding products.
• Explain product features, materials and benefits, and suggest alternatives.
• Be available to customers in the fitting room and on the sales floor.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with supported training.
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t present.
• Prepare products on the floor to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Ensure store and backstore cleanliness and order.
• Assist customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures; support team as needed.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

Permanent, full time

HOURLY SALARY : $15.25 - $18.00
