Job summary

La Vie en Rose is looking for a motivated sales associate in New York to join a dynamic team. You will help customers find the right lingerie, sleepwear, and swimwear, drive sales, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required.
• Strong customer service focus with a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Ability to listen to customer needs and suggest suitable products.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist with product selection.
• Explain product features, materials, and benefits to customers.
• Be available in fitting rooms to help customers and provide support.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with available training.
• Manage the sales floor when managers are absent.
• Prepare, stock, and arrange products for an engaging shopping experience.
• Keep store clean and organized, including backroom areas.
• Assist customers at the register and process transactions.
• Respect policies from head office and adapt to procedures.
• Perform other duties to support the team as needed.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they're looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren't there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

Permanent, part time

HOURLY SALARY : $15.75 - $18.00
