Job summary

Cycle Gear Inc. in New Orleans, LA is seeking a friendly and energetic Key Holder to deliver exceptional customer experiences and lead store operations.

You’ll build product knowledge, assist customers and teammates, and manage opening/closing procedures, returns, special orders, and task delegation. We offer base pay with uncapped commission, opportunities to grow within the organization, employee discounts, and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Key Holder or Sales Lead experience in retail.
• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• Self-starter mentality delivering an outstanding, personalized retail experience.
• Open mind, eager to learn and be part of the riding community.
• Experience with computers and POS systems (RetailPro).
• Motorcycle riding knowledge or interest preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide every customer with a great experience with strong product knowledge.
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, administer returns/store credit, special orders, and task delegation.
• Lead by example and divide tasks amongst Sales Associates.
• Stay up-to-date with brand and product knowledge, events and company information.

Average total pay: $12.00 - $16.00+ an hour (hourly base pay + uncapped tiered commission structure, based on meeting your sales goal)

What to expect when you work here

As a Key Holder, you would be responsible for providing every customer with a great experience. You will be expected to maintain a strong sense of product knowledge, and to provide customers and team members with in-depth information on product features and benefits. You would also assist with, and be knowledgeable in, all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, administering returns/store credit, special orders, and dividing tasks amongst Sales Associates.

Qualifications

Our next Key Holder has:

• 1 year + of Key Holder or Sales Lead experience, or an equivalent role at a retail store
• 2 years + of sales or customer service experience
• A self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience
• An open mind, and is eager to learn and be a part of the riding community
• Experience with computers and POS systems (particularly RetailPro)
• Motorcycle riding, knowledge, or interest (strongly desired, but not a requirement)
