Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Category Manager, Walmart, to act as the strategic analytics engine for the Walmart account team. You will translate complex data into actionable insights to grow the total category and influence modular recommendations within the Walmart ecosystem.

You will lead advanced analytics, partner with cross-functional teams, and help optimize omni-channel growth including Brick & Mortar and Pickup/Delivery strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Category Management, Business Analysis, or Customer Marketing.
• Proficiency with Nielsen and Scintilla tools; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analytics using Walmart data tools (Scintilla), POS data, and third-party data to deliver high-impact reporting and insights to sales and leadership.
• Serve as a customer-facing category expert, advising on product mix, shelf/display space, and merchandising strategies to drive category growth.
• Integrate Household Panel data and POS data to form robust omni-channel purchasing recommendations (Brick & Mortar, Pickup/Delivery).
• Support modular development by recommending optimal category assortments, flows, and adjacencies using space planning logic.
• Create and maintain performance scorecards, ROI dashboards, and new item trackers to support account planning and marketing mix decisions.
