Job summary

ICAT Logistics seeks a detail‑oriented Logistics and Client Support Associate in Tolleson, AZ. The role blends operations support with sales assistance to meet client needs and develop new opportunities.

You will handle inquiries, assist in quotes, and work across departments to improve processes and profitability. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in logistics, 1+ year of freight quoting, strong customer service, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of freight quoting and pricing.
• Customer service experience required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Oversee client inquiries via phone, email or other means with tracked response quality.
• Collaborate with sales to identify engagement and growth opportunities.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes for key clients to secure opportunities.
• Support the development of SOPs and process improvements.
• Assist in shipment origination or warehouse fulfillment as needed.
• Produce metrics and reports for key accounts in cross‑department projects.

Description

To facilitate the interaction between operations and sales to ensure client needs are met 100% of the time. To provide client services and sales support for identified accounts or specific salesperson, as assigned. Create and support the development of new business opportunities from those same clients. Exceed our customers’ expectations at all times.

• Oversee client inquiries via phone, email or other means. Tracking acknowledgement and response quality to key clients Exception handling and internal escalations as needed
• Responding to or delegating non-sales client inquiries (outside of general tracking, quotes).
• Identifying resource efficiencies (i.e., client email groups/distribution groups and compiling relevant marketing assets for BD efforts)
• Track key account news (i.e., alerts) to identify engagement and/or growth opportunities
• Working across departments to generate metrics and reports for key accounts as needed
• Identifying potential opportunities and work with the sales team
• Provide support to sales team as needed

Sales & Client Support

• Collaborate with the Operation team to deliver transportation and or warehouse solutions to our clients
• Assist in preparing RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and client presentations
• Prepare and follow up on quotes for key clients to secure the opportunity
• Conduct project-based tasks such as research and data assembly through interdepartmental collaboration
• Support the development of SOPs for key clients
• Recommend and implement process improvements to drive profitability and efficiency
• Assist in shipment origination or warehouse fulfillment, as needed
• Continually look to implement better processes, procedures and/or automation
• Other emergent duties and projects that may be requested in support of ICAT’s fast-paced environment

Requirements

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
• 2+ years' experience in logistics and/or freight forwarding operations and account management, Or equivalent education and experience
• 1+ years of freight quoting, pricing
• Customer service experience
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (excel, word, outlook, ppt)

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Most work is performed indoors in an office setting (or warehouse setting)
• Flexible approach to work, due to clients’ needs and project support requirements
• Regularly use hands to type, handle, or feel
• Required to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and can focus
• Must have clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds (update as required)
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods. May occasionally need to stoop, climb, or squat

Salary Range
