Job summary

thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company, LLC in Danville, Illinois, is seeking a Sales Key Account Manager to manage customer relationships, develop sales strategies, and lead negotiations for pricing and contracts.

You will coordinate with engineering to review requirements, support forecasting and budgeting, and adjust prices based on costs and market dynamics. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Production, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent foreign degree.
2 years of experience in a product development or sales engineering position, or in a closely related engineering role, in the crankshaft manufacturing industry.
2 years of work experience with sales in an OEM environment in the crankshaft industry; educating upper management and customers on terms/discounts; and participating in trade/negotiation techniques in the industrial crankshaft industry.

Responsibilities

Manage company customer relationships and projects through new sales techniques; develop pricing management; lead negotiations and draft contracts.
Coordinate with engineering to review requirements and develop customer quotes; support forecasting and develop budget; adjust prices based on costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Travel 10% domestically and internationally.
