Key Account Manager - Construction

Huntsman is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager supporting the Huntsman Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands, TX, or reporting remotely. This position reports to the Commercial Director, Construction - Americas.

Job Scope

The Key Account Manager - Construction will execute the Key Account Strategy in North America, managing approximately $100M in revenue for Polyurethanes Components. The role involves building strong, lasting relationships at all levels of the Key Accounts' organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large, complex key accounts, expanding market share.
  • Build relationships across multiple levels within key accounts, including with executive leadership.
  • Establish internal relationships with Huntsman’s executive team and facilitate interactions with key accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Coordinate internally in a matrix environment to meet key account needs.
  • Manage CRM components, including opportunity pipelines and call reports.
  • Gather intelligence on competitors and market dynamics.
  • Utilize sales and pricing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Negotiate sustainable contracts and service offerings.
  • Act as a change agent for the region's Hforce strategy.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications below. Preferred qualifications are additional and advantageous for top candidates.

Legal Right to Work: Must have unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of account management experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in key account management.
  • At least 7 years of experience in:
    • B2B selling
    • Building relationships at the C-suite level
    • Contract management
    • Financial analysis and strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
