Remote | U.S.

We are seeking a professional “sales hunter” with an LED lighting and advanced (IoT) controls background, experienced in working with Fortune 500 companies and expertise in Data Centers. The role involves initiating contact with potential and existing customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company’s products and services, and identify and close sales opportunities.

The candidate must clearly and convincingly articulate the company’s value proposition, overcome initial resistance from prospects, and create a path to success. An understanding of executive decision-makers and a network in the retail, commercial, and industrial markets is essential. The ideal candidate will be persuasive, influential, and capable of motivating others to take specific actions or make purchases.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Research, create, and execute sales plans to achieve growth and increase market share.
  • Develop strong relationships with targeted retail, commercial, and industrial prospects and customers.
  • Focus on expanding and managing existing end-user customers while driving new business.
  • Understand customers’ business needs deeply and develop compelling solutions.
  • Create customer-centric project solutions focusing on LED products and advanced controls.
  • Gather customer feedback related to products and communicate insights to management.
  • Prepare proposals and leverage our value proposition to differentiate and compete.
General Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in LED and advanced controls sales to retail, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Extensive experience in selling LED and advanced controls to large, strategic, and national accounts.
  • Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience with C-level sales in retail, commercial, or industrial markets.
  • Track record of closing large, multi-million dollar sales annually.
  • Experience in strategic, key, or national account markets.
  • Existing customer portfolio preferred.
  • Knowledge of the lighting agency-distribution ecosystem.
  • Expertise in advanced controls and IoT sales.
Position Criteria
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Organized, capable of managing multiple sales strategies simultaneously.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Located near a major metropolitan airport (e.g., Charlotte, Dallas, Miami, Chicago).
