Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with kettle fundraising programs preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to recruit and train staff and volunteers.
• Ability to drive 50-75% of work time.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and coordinate bell ringers and volunteers to ensure full site coverage.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work; supervise staff and volunteers and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date records and databases for kettle income; prepare reports on status of kettle program.
• Plan and execute special events; prepare plaques and certificates of recognition; maintain event records.
• Drive Salvation Army vehicle(s) to kettle locations and collect kettles and supplies; count, record, and deposit funds.
