Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a results-oriented coordinator to recruit, train, and supervise bell ringing staff and volunteers for kettle campaigns in multiple locations. You will plan schedules, maintain records, and assist with event coordination and recognition programs.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, and a valid driver’s license. Prior kettle fundraising experience is preferred and driving may comprise a large portion of duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; one year kettle fundraising experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects bell ringing staff and volunteers.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work; supervises performance for accuracy and compliance with Salvation Army policies.
• Maintains records and databases for kettle income information; prepares reports.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle to kettle locations and to collect kettles and supplies.
• Counts, records and deposits kettle funds.
