Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Kettle Operator in Cleveland, OH. You will read process order cards, prepare materials, and ensure area readiness to produce high-quality sealants and coatings, then fill and palletize packaging.

You will test samples, adjust as needed to meet specs, and record production while following safety and process SOPs. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Windows familiarity).
• Lean and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills or willingness to train.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend batch-making processes.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the process order card to operate the kettle.
• Prepare materials and ensure area readiness for production.
• Test samples and adjust to meet specifications; fill product into packaging and palletize.
• Control processes via HMI or automatic equipment and monitor indicators.
• Accurately record production and downtime in written documentation.
• Read and interpret recording instruments, gauges, scales and meters.
