Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Kettle Operator in Cleveland, OH to process Tremco Sealants and Roofing products by reading batch orders, preparing materials, testing quality, and filling packaging for palletizing. No prior experience is required, with emphasis on safety and readiness to produce by following SOPs.

Candidate should have basic computer skills and a willingness to train in Lean and Visual Factory Management.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Lean and Visual Factory Management (VFM) knowledge or willingness to train.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production setting.
• Effective team player with self-motivation and quick learning.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend batch-making processes.
• Ability to perform math operations across units of measure.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and handle heavy pails with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate kettles and control chemical processes via control boards or HMI.
• Draw samples and conduct quality checks to ensure specifications.
• Add materials to kettles using batch orders and measurement tools.
• Read instruments and verify process conditions match standards.
