Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Kettle Driver for the Red Kettle Campaign in Indiana. You will transport bell ringers and equipment, ensuring safe driving and proper setup at kettle sites, while documenting times and maintaining form accuracy.

Qualifications

Must be able to speak, write and understand English for effective communication with leadership and personnel.
Background check is required and results reviewed.
Experience driving 12-passenger vans is preferred; minimum 2 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Drive an insured Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers and equipment during the Red Kettle Campaign.
Drop off and pick up bell ringers in a pre-determined order; secure kettles and equipment.
Document time and ensure accuracy of bellringing forms.
Assist in delivering kettles, bells, and aprons to bellringers at kettle sites.
Monitor safety and activity of bell ringers; report concerns to supervisor immediately.
Assist in inventory and setup for next day’s activities; secure vehicles for the next day.
