Job summary

The Salvation Army in Wisconsin seeks a Kettle Coordinator to run the Red Kettle Campaign. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, schedule ringing times, and promote opportunities in the community.

Responsibilities include handling kettle money with volunteers, transferring funds to the bank, and recording daily totals in the SA tracker. A valid driver’s license is required and prior customer-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier.
• Experience dealing with people in a customer service or sales role.
• Education: N/A

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups, and establish dates, times and locations.
• Contact volunteers by phone or email to schedule ringing times.
• Reach out to local businesses to obtain kettle sponsorship.
• Sort kettle money with volunteers according to guidelines.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Enter daily funds into the tracking spreadsheet and SA tracker.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Maintain kettle equipment and inspect for damage.
• Send thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations.
• Make copies of checks and forward to Field Rep.
