Job summary

Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kentucky seeks a Kentucky Medication Aide / Certified Medication Technician (KMA/CMT) to join our clinical team. You will administer medications under licensed staff supervision, monitor resident responses, and support daily care needs with accuracy and empathy.

Qualified CNAs with a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, and a passion for senior care are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Must be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preference for experience with older adults.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to orders.
  • Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following guidelines.
  • Report changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

KMA/CMT responsibilities:
  • Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders

  • Supervise residents who self‑administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines

  • Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors

  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

KMA/CMT Required skills and qualifications:
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • High school diploma or GED

  • One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Previous experience working directly with older adults preferred

  • Must enjoy working with the senior population
