Mission Valley Pet Clinic, part of AmeriVet, is seeking a dependable Kennel Technician to join our team in San Diego. This hands-on role supports animal care in a busy, team-oriented hospital environment, with a focus on comfort, safety, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include feeding and monitoring pets, maintaining a sanitary kennel, bathing and basic grooming, assisting veterinary staff with handling, and reporting signs of illness. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift.
• Weekends and Holidays are a must.

Mission Valley Pet Clinic has proudly served the Allied Gardens community for over 30 years. We are a trusted, long-standing small animal general practice focused on providing high-quality care and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.

Position Summary:

As a Kennel Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of our patients during their stay with us. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who loves animals, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment.

Compensation: $17.75-$18.00/Hr
