Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Part-Time Kennel Technician (Pet Pro) to care for dogs and cats in daycare and boarding environments. You’ll help keep the resort clean, safe, and welcoming while providing loving, attentive care.

Responsibilities include supervising playgroups, feeding, administering medications, documenting care notes, and engaging pets in enrichment activities. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with paid training and employee pet care discounts.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a Part-Time Kennel Technician (internally called a Pet Pro) to join our team and care for our furry guests at their home away from home.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Pro, you’ll be hands-on in both daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping our resort clean and welcoming.

Your day may include:

• Walking dogs and supervising playgroups
• Feeding pets and administering medications
• Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas
• Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions
• Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership
• Engaging pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games
• Comforting shy guests and managing high-energy groups
• Laundry and general facility upkeep
• And yes — you’ll scoop poop, clean messes, o home with fur on your clothes, and probably get plenty of sloppy kisses.

You must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
• Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
• Handle large and small dogs confidently
• Work weekends and holidays
• Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products
