Botetourt Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Kennel Supervisor to oversee the Kennel/Boarding/Grooming Department, lead staff, and ensure safety, comfort, and client confidence for boarding patients.

The role includes scheduling, managing workflow, training staff, and serving as a key liaison to hospital management. Weekend/holiday availability is required to support busy boarding seasons.

Qualifications

• Previous kennel/animal care experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work outdoors in all seasons.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak boarding seasons.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of Kennel/Boarding/Grooming Department.
• Schedule staffing, approve boarding requests, and ensure capacity and compliance.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to kennel staff.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and high-quality patient care standards.
• Coordinate with groomers and medical staff to meet service needs.
