Qualifications

• Experience in kennel/animal care; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to lead by example.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak boarding seasons.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of kennel/boarding/grooming departments.
• Create, post, and maintain the kennel schedule to ensure adequate staffing.
• Approve boarding requests and manage capacity, patient needs, and vaccine/medical compliance.
• Provide training, guidance, and coaching to kennel staff; report to Hospital Manager.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and patient care standards across the department.
