Leesburg Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Kennel Attendant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Leesburg, VA.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing compassionate support for our patients and care teams. Your meaningful work will range from maintaining clean, comfortable hospital and boarding areas, to assisting with patient care through safe restraint, walking hospitalized pets and supporting daily needs under the direction of our veterinary team.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of professional animal handling experience
  • Veterinary experience strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $16 – $18 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
