Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Animal Care Attendant to join our Rehabilitation team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will support pets’ rehabilitation and recovery, assisting aquatic therapy and laser sessions, providing patient comfort, and keeping treatment areas clean and organized.

You’ll help create a positive experience for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional animal handling experience.
• Experience in a veterinary setting strongly preferred.
• Fear Free experience preferred.
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is looking for a full-time Animal Care Attendant to join our Rehabilitation team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by supporting their rehabilitation and recovery journey every step of the way. Your life-changing work will range from assisting with aquatic therapy and therapeutic laser sessions to providing patient comfort, maintaining treatment areas, and helping create a positive experience for pets and their families.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years professional animal handling experience
• Experience in a veterinary setting strongly preferred
• Fear Free experience preferred

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $16 – $20/ hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
