Job summary

East Side Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, in Evansville, IN, is seeking a part-time Kennel Attendant to support the veterinary team and care for dogs and cats.

You will feed, bathe, restrain animals as needed, record feedings and treatments, engage in play, and maintain a clean, healthy environment to ensure animal wellbeing.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animals
• Assist in restraining animals for veterinary team members
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields preferred but not required
