Job description

Elm Creek Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our Kennel team is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff.

In this role, you will focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, ensuring kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well-stocked with supplies. This position is ideal for self-driven, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment. The ideal candidate may be a student or someone looking to start their professional career.

This is a flexible, part-time position, working 2-3 days a week, with shifts from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and availability needed Monday through Saturday, including rotating weekends with shifts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Saturday.

Part-time benefits and compensation:

• Compensation: $16-$17 per hour, based on hours worked and other factors such as education, training, experience, and geographic location.

Minimum qualifications and skills:

• Kennel experience is a plus!
• Proficiency in:
• Cleaning and organizing,
