West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking a compassionate Kennel Attendant to support our animal care team. You will work hands-on with dogs and cats in a busy veterinary hospital, helping with daily care and maintaining a clean, safe space for pets and clients.

This permanent, on-site position requires reliability, organization, and comfort with the realities of animal care, including weekends and holidays. Previous related experience is preferred and 18+ years of age is required.

This can be a messy, active job, but it's incredibly rewarding for the right person. As a Kennel Attendant, you'll play an important role in providing exceptional care to our hospitalized, boarding, and daycare patients while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pets, clients, and our veterinary team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable with the physical and sometimes messy realities of animal care, and able to multitask safely in a fast-paced veterinary hospital with a high volume of patients and guests.

Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary hospital, animal shelter, boarding facility, kennel, daycare, grooming facility, or other professional animal care setting, is strongly preferred.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have availability for day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
