Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking an organized, dependable Kennel Attendant to join our team in Sulphur, Louisiana. The role focuses on delivering excellent animal care in a fast-paced veterinary environment, with responsibilities spanning kennels, patient care, and basic grooming.

You will ensure a clean, safe environment, exercise and feed patients, administer medications as directed, and communicate concerns to the medical team.

• Experience or familiarity with animal care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean kennels and maintain a safe, clean environment.

• Cleaning kennels and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Walking and exercising patients
• Feeding and caring for patients according to their individual needs
• Administering medications as directed
• Bathing and basic grooming
• Nail trims
• Monitoring patients and communicating any concerns to the medical team
• Helping keep the kennel area clean, organized and running efficiently
