VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County in Rohnert Park is seeking an entry-level Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This role ensures a safe, clean environment for patients and clients, supporting staff with essential tasks and patient care.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in veterinary medicine; no prior experience required.
• Ability to stand for most of shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays in a 24/7 hospital schedule.
• Excellent teamwork and patient-care attitude.

Responsibilities

• Running laundry throughout the shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming).
• Emptying trash, recycling, and compost.
• Cleaning and restocking exam rooms.
• Cleaning cages and kennels.
• Stocking supplies in common areas.
• As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities to learn animal handling and restraint, patient husbandry, and basic patient care and treatments.

Location : 6470 Redwood Dr., Rohnert Park, Ca. 94928

Compensation : $ 18.50-$20.00/hr

Schedule : FT 5/8's or 4/10's

VCA Animal Care Center Veterinary Hospital is seeking an entry level Patient Care Attendant to join our team. What You’ll Do

As a Patient Care Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, clients, and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Running laundry throughout the shift
