Job summary

GT’s Living Foods is seeking a Kefirs/Yo Operator to run the machinery that gives CocoYo its distinct taste and to measure raw ingredients for yogurt production. The role supports daily production schedules and requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Employees work in shifts with start times 5:00 AM and 1:30 PM, rotating duties, and must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. The company offers healthcare, 401K, and exciting perk programs in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• 6 months - 1 year experience in Manufacturing/Production and/or Food/Beverage or related industry preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays
• Ability to read the English language (preferred)
• Familiarity with ERP System (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assemble/Disassemble machinery to prepare for cleaning and start up.
• Inspect security features and cleanliness of machinery before use and adjust as needed prior to use.
• Perform quality checks on material including temperature and pH to ensure ingredients meet specifications.
• Document changes of equipment configuration and production records.
• Manually fill buckets of materials and transport to adjacent processing area.
• Monitor processing to ensure ingredients meet quality specifications.
• Perform and document cleaning of machinery.
• Document final consumption of ingredients and report finished material into production orders.
• Maintain a safe work environment; keep work area clean.
• Rotation between Kefirs/Yo Operators as needed.
