Job summary

Metrea is seeking a highly capable Maintenance Controller to manage KC-135 maintenance on a dedicated shift. You will coordinate maintenance with contractors, brief teams, and ensure compliance with FAA rules and company policies.

You will report to the Maintenance Control Manager and play a key role in safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates bring an A&P certificate, 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, strong planning and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and

Qualifications

• Requires an appropriate airman certificate with A&P ratings and minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR 43, 14 CFR 91) and maintenance planning systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills for coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan maintenance activities and provide technical support on assigned shift.
• Coordinate maintenance activities conducted by Contract Agencies, where applicable.
• Ensure contracted maintenance personnel are properly briefed and understand the nature of problems and company policies.
• Ensure all work complies with current FARs, company manuals, and technical data acceptable to the Administrator.
• Provide technical assistance to all maintenance activities and personnel.
• Monitor all DMIs to ensure time limits are not exceeded.
• Monitor, update, and verify aircraft status and report changes to Operations and Maintenance.
• Plan and schedule airframe and line engine maintenance/inspections, ADs, service bulletins, corrosion programs, and modifications.
• Assemble Aircraft Maintenance/Inspection Packages with applicable ADs and Maintenance items.
• Participate in Safety Programs and report safety concerns.
