Kreato Language Group LLC is seeking a full-time English-Karen Experienced Medical Interpreter for a blended OPI and VRI environment. The role provides consecutive interpretation over phone and video between English and Karen in medical, social services, customer service, and financial settings.

You must be fluent in English and Karen, have remote interpretation experience, and hold a medical interpretation certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Job Description

This is a full-time remote position as an English-Karen Experienced Medical Interpreter in a Blended (OPI & VRI) environment. The medical interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate consecutive interpretation services over the phone and via video between English and Karen in medical, social services, customer service, and financial settings. The role involves facilitating communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective understanding and care.

Qualifications

• Medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls interpretation skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Fluency in English and Karen
• Remote interpretation experience in both languages is mandatory
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related field
• HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• Ethernet connection (must be connected directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not allowed
• Noise-canceling microphone and USB headset. Only the following brands are accepted: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220(Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000
• Browser: Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox
• Processor: i5or higher, 6th generation or newer
• Camera: Minimum resolution of 1080p
• Full-time availability, 5 days a week (2 days off)
