CLOVEHITCH is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Kaqchikel to support a client serving minor populations. You will provide in-person interpretation at client sites, relaying instructions and questions between minors and Care Staff to ensure clear communication.

Must have ILR 2+ in English and Kaqchikel, with U.S. work authorization. Some roles may require travel across the United States and possible 24/7 availability.

Qualificações

• Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and the target language.
• This position is open only to individuals authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person, onsite interpretation at client service sites
• Relay important deadlines, instructions, questions, and other communication from Support Care Staff to minors in their native or preferred language
• Assist minors in communicating concerns to staff when not fluent in English or staff language
• Provide translation/interpretation to orient minors to community resources
• Assist staff with building rapport and understanding the cultural context of the client populations they serve
• Support special projects and initiatives
