CLOVEHITCH is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Kaqchikel to support a client serving minor populations. Interpreters will facilitate communication between minors and Care Staff in person, with telephonic or video support as needed.

You must have English ILR 2+ and Kaqchikel proficiency; a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites nationwide are required. This is a temporary, full-time role with potential 24/7 availability as needed.

Formación

• Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and the target language.
• Prior experience in foster care or medical care settings preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person, onsite interpretation at client service sites.
• Relay deadlines, instructions, questions between staff and minors.
• Assist minors when language barriers limit communication with staff.
• Provide translation/interpretation to orient minors to community resources.
• Help staff understand cultural context of client populations.
