Kraft Heinz Granite City Plant is seeking a Temp-to-Hire KAB Machine Operator to operate and maintain the filling line, clear jams, and ensure safety and quality at all times.

You will perform quality checks, enter downtime and quality data into the computer, learn mold numbers, defect types, and communicate issues to maintenance. Training includes safety and quality policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Passes Qualification card covering safety, quality and job responsibilities.
• Meets target level by end of training period.
• Compliance with Kraft Heinz quality and safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain the filling machine with safety and quality at the forefront.
• Clear jams in secondary belts, unscrambler bowl, star wheel and bucket conveyor.
• Perform quality checks: leaker inspections, weight checks, code date verifications.
• Enter downtime and quality data into the computer for each filler.
• Identify mold numbers related to defects and communicate with maintenance.

Job DescriptionRole: Temp-to-Hire Production / KAB Machine OperatorPay Rate: Starting wage: $23.00 / hourAfter qualification/card certification: $24.00 / hourPermanent employment rate: $25.63 / hourThe primary function of a KAB Filling Operator is to operator and maintains the filling machine, effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest degree of integrity as it relates to the safety and quality of the operation.The operator will be responsible for clearing jams in the secondary belts, unscrambler bowl, star wheel and bucket conveyor. The operator will be able to describe different functions of the machine and what purpose they serve.The operator will learn how to identify different types of defects with the bottle and identify and communicate the mold numbers that are related to the defect. As an operator you will learn different types of leakers and where they stem from so this information can be communicated to maintenance.The operator will be responsible for quality checks such as leaker inspections, weight checks, and code date verifications. All quality information and downtime information will be entered into a computer for each filler.Other duties as assigned.Quality Expectations:All employees must support and uphold all Kraft Heinz Quality Policies and Procedures as it relates to their job function, while maintaining an understanding of how their job role directly effects the success of the quality program and its components.All employees must participate in annual training that covers the quality aspects of their job associated with all plant quality policies/procedures.
