K9 Resorts in Greece, NY is seeking a Part-Time Pet Care Technician to care for dogs and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You’ll work hands-on with dogs of all breeds, assist with feeding, bathing, and daily routines, and support a fast-paced team in a luxury-resort setting.

We value genuine love for dogs, strong communication, reliability, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. Training is provided to help you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs and enjoy hands-on care.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Comfortable with cleaning and pet care tasks; maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all sizes.
• Supervise daycare playgroups and ensure safe interactions.
• Monitor dog health, behavior, and safety; report concerns promptly.
• Clean and disinfect suites and common areas to brand standards.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, and daily routines.
• Deliver a 5-star guest experience to pet parents.
• Support team operations and maintain a positive culture.

What You'll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you'll be at the heart of our resort - working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Comfortable getting "down and dirty" with cleaning and pet care tasks
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable
