Job summary

K9 Resorts, a luxury dog resort in New Jersey, is seeking a Pet Care Technician to join our fast-paced, team-driven environment. You will work hands-on with dogs, ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

We offer training if you have no experience, flexible scheduling, 401(k) with company participation, and opportunities for career development. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Supervise daycare playgroups and ensure safe, positive interactions.
• Monitor dog health, behavior, and safety and report concerns immediately.
• Clean and disinfect suites and common areas to brand standards.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines.
• Deliver a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent.
• Support team operations and maintain a strong, positive culture.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our resort—working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture
