Job summary

K9 Resorts Stamford is hiring a Pet Care Technician to join our luxury dog resort. You’ll work hands-on with dogs, supervise daycare activities, and help provide a safe, clean, and joyful environment for every guest.

No experience? We provide training. You should love dogs, communicate well, be detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support peak times.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within our pet care team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions.
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately.
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards.
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines.
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent.
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our resort—working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
