Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a security officer, or two (2) years’ experience working in healthcare security, or one (1) year experience as a police officer or security officer with accredited police/corrections academy.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the Security of patients, visitors, and staff on Providence Alaska Medical Center campus.
• Operate with a canine officer and manage assigned police service dog in accordance with policy.
• Respond to radio calls to support security operations and maintain daily reports and logs.
• Care for and transport the dog to veterinary care when required; maintain the dog’s training and appearance.
