Job summary

You will perform X-ray and physical searches, and supervise a trained working dog while maintaining training records. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel is required; citizenship and security clearances are mandatory.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem solving aptitude with analytical thinking.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to obtain security clearances and program-specific certifications within weeks.

Responsibilities

• Screen cargo in accordance with TSA rules and regulations.
• Participate in training to search cargo and identify threats.
• Perform junior handler duties while working with a trained canine.
• Maintain training records for certifications and canine care.
• Possess transportation to travel to different locations as required.
• Operate in various environments, including nights, weekends, and holidays; travel may be required.
