Job summary

N/A is seeking a Junior Handler to screen cargo in compliance with TSA rules. The role requires completing a 4–8 weeks training and certification prior to mobilization.

You will work with a trained canine, perform duties related to X-Ray screening and explosive trace detection, maintain training records, and uphold required security clearances. Work hours vary, including nights, weekends, holidays, and possible travel, with on-site training and field assignments.

Qualifications

• Citizenship must be verified and able to obtain KTN, SIDA badge, STA within 4–6 weeks.
• Must have valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods in all weather.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats.
• Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed.
• Perform Junior Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog.
• Responsible for maintaining training records.
• Maintain canine living arrangements and inspections as required.
