Job summary

White Oak Baptist Church in Greenville, SC is seeking a passionate and nurturing K3 Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact young learners during a formative period of growth in a faith-based setting.

You will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for 3-year-olds, create a safe, engaging classroom, integrate Christian values, and regularly communicate with families and staff to support student progress and community events.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool age groups (3–5).
• Strong faith-based values and ability to integrate Christian principles.
• Warm, nurturing, and patient demeanor with young children.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for 3-year-old students in a faith-based classroom setting
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Manage classroom behavior using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies
• Collaborate with church staff and fellow educators to support program goals and special events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups (ages 3-5)
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Strong commitment to Christian faith and values
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and staff
• Ability to pass a background check as required by the church
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
