Job summary

National Heritage Academies' Riverton Charter Academy in New York seeks a Technology Teacher / Coordinator to provide K-12 technology instruction and keep the school's educational technology running.

The role is approximately 90% instructional and 10% administrative, covering hardware deployment, network upkeep, and student access to online apps. In partnership with NHA IT, you will manage Chrome settings, Clever Portal access, and testing coordination.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in education technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide K-12 student technology instruction and ensure educational technology is operational and well-managed.
• Allocate approx. 90% of time to student technology instruction and 10% to building-wide technology administration and support.
• Manage deployment and lifecycle of NHA-provided hardware and troubleshoot hardware and network infrastructure.
• Assist students in accessing online educational applications via the Clever Student Portal and customize Chrome settings via Google Admin Console.
• Act as State Testing Technology Coordinator and may serve as Lead NWEA MAP Testing Proctor.
