Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Substitute staff member to support K-8 operations, assist teachers, and help manage daily activities. You will interact with students in a positive, professional manner plus assist with materials, grading, bulletin boards and coverage needs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments while maintaining a safe, engaging learning atmosphere for all students.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to support classroom activities and materials preparation.
• Willingness to assist with supervision and duties across school operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom with grading and bulletin boards.
• Support driveline pickup/drop-off and lunch/recess duty.
• Answer phones and check in students during breaks.
• Float to areas of need to support staff and teachers.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies and field trips.
