Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education.
• Massachusetts Teaching Licensure.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Master’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education (preferred).
• 3+ years of high school teaching experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan for several models of inclusion including co-teaching, push-in support, and standalone instruction.
• Use district technology and virtual curricula to create engaging lessons aligned with 21st Century skills.
• Manage classroom behavior with Positive Behavior Interventions to motivate students and limit disruptions.
• Utilize inclusive SEI strategies for English Learners on IEPs.
• Incorporate language activities into content instruction aligned with State Standards for Language Proficiency.
• Collaborate with grade level teachers to provide high-quality instruction for Special Education Students.
• Complete IEP reporting, progress reports, and necessary paperwork for state education standards.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education

Massachusetts Teaching Licensure

SEI Endorsement

Master’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education

3+ years of high school teaching experience
