Job summary

Qualifications

• Idaho teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience writing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state regulations.
• Experience with IEP management software (EDPlan, PowerSchool).
• Understanding RTI.
• Experience in a charter or small-school setting.
• Gifted and Talented Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and/or consultative special education services to students based on IEP goals.
• Modify curriculum and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices.
• Write, revise, and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes.
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring parent and team collaboration.
• Serve as the primary case manager for assigned students, ensuring timelines are met and services are delivered.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date special education records in accordance with district and legal requirements.
• Document and manage Medicaid-eligible services in alignment with state billing requirements.
• Communicate regularly with families, staff, and related service providers to support student success.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and problem-solving teams.
