Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Substitute staff member to support students and staff across a K-8 setting. You will assist with driveline pickup/drop-off, lunch duties, classroom support, grading, and bulletin boards, helping teachers reinforce learning and maintain a safe, positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Works with campus staff in a K-8 setting to support operational functions (driveline pickup/drop-off, lunch/recess duty, light cleaning).
• Assist in the copy room preparing materials for teachers.
• Provide breaks office staff coverage by answering phones and checking in students.
• Supports teachers in the classroom with grading, creating bulletin boards, etc.
• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills.
• Interacts with students in a positive, professional manner.
• Assists with supervision during drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch, and field trips.
• Floats to areas of need to support staff breaks.
• Periodically assist in drop-off/pick-up through Driveline, including during inclement weather.
